This Chalet has everything! -
The HideAway Chalet has it all: Killington Road convenience to everything... This comfortable lodge is tucked away in a private forest setting just 99 steps to the Killington Access Road. This retreat is perfect for any group to have a real Vermont experience.
There are two grills one is gas on the large deck and a charcoal grill out side. There is High speed Wireless internet throughout the house, unlimited local calling (two lines, 3 TV / Family /Living rooms... Level 2 has a 52" Flat screen TV, the upper and lower both have DVD / VCR TV's and many games.
One can book the entire chalet that accommodates up to 24 in 8 different kinds of bedrooms plus 2 double sofa beds in the top floor living room which functions as a 9th BR with its own Bath.
There is a total of 5.5 baths on the three levels, TWO FULL KITCHENS plus a NEW Bar with a beverage refidgerator and 3rd dishwasher on the ground level closest to the HOT TUB!
For smaller groups, the house can be divided into 3 separate units, accommodating groups of 1 to 8 each.
The main floor HC#2 features the Sony 52" large TV with full cable, HBO & SPORTS Channels, a fully equipped Kitchen with seated dining for 20 including the a large cherry mission style dining table that seats twelve.
There is a huge private deck, ski/ boot room, 3 comfortable bedrooms: two queens, and a sleep 4 bunk room. There are two sofas in the main living room lots of games including blackjack felt table top, scrabble, dominos, twister, poker chips etc....
The lower level (HC#1) will make you smile. Lime green contemporary sofas, TV/DVD, bar area, beverage refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Sleep 4 bunk room, plus a sleep 2 bunkroom, and a cozy double bedroom and Two full baths. This unit also has a ski storage room and is the closest and most convenient to the hot tub. If the upstairs is rented to separate guests, we will ask all guests to be considerate...
All three living areas in the chalet are very spacious. Each floor has something wonderful to offer. In the morning you may want to cook breakfast or walk across the street to Johnny Boy's for Killington's best breakfast or lunch. Then the early birds can drive the car to Snowshed or the K1 gondola and lodge and the stragglers can take the shuttle later.
There are many wonderful restaurants & shops nearby, and don't forget, the best NIGHTLIFE to be found anywhere in Vermont for almost every demographic and generation! The Pickle Barrel, Out back, Tabu, Wobbley Barn and Casey's offers free shuttle rides home and taxis are available from the other nightspots that are either FREE or $4 per person. |
